William Norris Barnes, 90, died December 27, 2017 at home, surrounded by his children, and grandchildren.
He was born December 9, 1927 in Brooks County, Ga and lived in Savannah for most of his life.
Surviving are his children, sons Freddie Barnes (Teresa), Gibson Barnes (Ann), David Barnes (Clara); daughters Janice Tomberlin and Sandra Bazemore (Buster). He had 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. until 7:00p.m., Friday, December 29, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home in Richmond Hill Ga.
Funerals services will be held at 11:00 a.m.,Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah.
