William Anthony Martin, age 71, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023.

William was born in Savannah, GA.  He was raised in Richmond Hill and graduated from Richmond Hill High School.  He was a Bryan County STAR Student his senior year and was Bryan County's first Eagle Scout in Troop 527.  He was a graduate of Georgia Tech University.

He worked as a Civil Engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers specializing in topography and hydraulics.  William enjoyed woodworking.

William was preceded in death by his parents, Wade and Ada Martin.

He is survived by his wife, Nicole Martin; a daughter, Abbie Martin; his sister, Carol Martin Smith (Danny); his brother, Andrew Martin (Mary); 2 grandchildren, Savannah Martin and Alex Martin.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Richmond Hill United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.
