William (Will) Howard Ingram II of Richmond Hill, age 43, died on January 27, 2021.

Will was born in Americus, Georgia on March 30, 1977. He attended Brooklyn Heights

Christian Academy in Americus, where he was the Valedictorian of the Class of 1995.

Nominated by now retired Georgia Senator Sam Nunn, Will received appointments to all three of

the United States Service Academies. He was a 1999 graduate of the United States Military

Academy at West Point, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering. Upon

graduation from West Point, Will honorably served his country as a Commissioned Officer in the

United States Army. Will went on to earn a graduate degree from the University of Washington

in Seattle, Washington.

After he completed his service on Active Duty, Will went on to serve his country as an Army

Civilian for more than 15 years. He served as the Chief of Master Planning for the Army's Third

Infantry Division for several years before he assumed the responsibilities as the Chief of

Operations and Maintenance at Ft. Stewart and Hunter Army Airfield, the position he held at the

time of his death.

Will is predeceased by both sets of his grandparents and his parents, Ira Charles and Linda

Bellew Ingram. He is survived by his only son, Matthew Gabriel Ingram (Gabe); his former

spouse, Dr. Trinity Ingram-Jones; a step-son, Brandon Hovey; and his life-long best friend,

Shawn Brodie.

Will has lived in the Richmond Hill area since March 2003. Of his many accomplishments, Will

was most proud of his son, Gabe.

A "celebration of life" with Military Honors will be held in the Richmond Hill Funeral Home

Chapel at 11am on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. The ceremony will be officiated by the Third

Infantry Division Chaplain, and a eulogy will be given by his son, Gabe, and his beloved friend,

Shawn. Visitation with the family will also be held in the Chapel one hour prior to the service,

from 10am until 11am.
