William "Bill" Houston, 86, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 at his residence.

Bill was born in Colquitt, GA. He worked as an air condition mechanic for Grimms Heating & Air. He also worked for a number of years at Sears. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He enjoyed carpentry work when he was able.

He was preceded in death by a son, William Steve Houston and his wife Dorothy Houston.

Bill is survived by his daughter, Gail Beard (Dale) of Tifton, GA; his son, Randy Houston (Tammy) of Tennessee Ridge, TN; a daughter-in-law, Shirley Houston; a brother, Bobby Houston of Dublin, GA: grandchildren, Laura Beard, Stephanie Beard, Amanda Houston, Ellen Holcomb, Heather Houston, Chrystal Houston, Lorin Howells, Jennifer Wisen, Terri Pait and Jessie Wright; numerous great-grandchildren; a step-daughter, Brenda Harn of Winter Springs, FL; step-grandchildren, Robbie Howell and Chris Howell; 3 step-great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Virginia Huggins.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Bryan Neck Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
