William Thomas Forster, age 66, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024 at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah.

He was born in Queens, NY to the late William and Barbara Forster.  William grew up with five sisters in New York.  He lived a number of years in Richmond Hill before moving to Pennsylvania where he lived for many years.  He moved to Rincon two years ago.

William liked to cook and worked as a Chef in New York.  When he lived in Richmond Hill, he worked as a cook at Richmond Hill High School.  He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, spending time with his family, going to the beach and going to concerts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Barbara Forster; a sister, Barbara Augustine; and a niece, Jessie Branch.

William is survived by his daughter, Kerri Foss (Frank); his step-son, Christopher Cuozzo (Elizabeth); 4 sisters, Susan Pond, Mary Ann Forster, Carol Mastellone (Tom) and Terri Poepperling (Dave); his grandchildren, Haven, Alicyn and Falyn; his step-grandchildren, Desiree, Harris and Lillian; his former wife and friend, Kathleen Forster; many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
