Richmond Hill – Wilburn S. Butler, age 87, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017.
Wilburn was born in Ellabell, GA and lived most of his life in Richmond Hill. He was a retired sheet metal mechanic with Warner Robins Air Force Base. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Midway First Baptist Church. He was also a member of the D.P. Breakfast Club.
Wilburn loved to hunt and fish. He was an avid gardener.
He is survived by his daughter, Phyllis Butler (Danny McKenzie) of Hardeeville, SC; his sons, Doug Butler (Louise), Kevin Butler (Nancy), and Neal Butler (Rhonda) all of Hardeeville, SC; his grandchildren, Adrienne Butler, Eric Butler, Brandon Butler, Craig Butler, Sydney Butler, and Haley Butler.
Visitation: 5 pm to 7 pm, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 3 pm, Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J.C. Wright officiating.
Burial: First Baptist Church Cemetery, Richmond Hill, GA.
