Wesley Albert Maples passed away Thursday September 20, 2018 in Charleston, South Carolina. He was born February 13, 1994 in Atlanta, Ga.  He is survived by his parents, Alisha Maples and Johnny Maples, his brother Bailey, and Sister, Sarah of Richmond Hill. He leaves behind his fiancé, Katelynn Lyell-Maples, and son, Keith Andrew Maples.  He is also survived by his maternal Grandmother, Sandra Vickers of Savannah, and paternal grandparents, Ginda Maples of Richmond Hill, and Richard and Pat Maples of Denham Springs, La. He is survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Wesley was born in Atlanta but raised in Savannah and Richmond Hill. He had a love for life. His passion was the outdoors.  He loved to hunt, fish, wakeboard, snowboard, and scuba dive.  If it was outdoors you can count him in! He loved being on the water, from a simple tube or float to just boating around for hours.

Wesley attended Savannah Christian until the 4 ^th grade then continued his education here in Richmond Hill. Upon graduation he attended Georgia Southern for 2 years before deciding on a different career path.  He attended crane school and became a certified crane operator realized he had found his calling in life.

Wesley had a way of lighting up a room with his infectious smile and charming personality. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
