Walden "Wally" Jowers, age 60, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah.

Wally was born in Savannah.  He lived in Missouri for a number of years before moving to Richmond Hill and then to Midway.

He was a handyman and a hard worker.  He worked for Jones Lawn Care. Wally was a loving and giving man.  He would feed all of the neighbors.  He liked to cook and grilling was his specialty.

Wally enjoyed fishing and playing with his pit bull "Polly".

He is survived by his wife, Jeanie Jowers of Midway; his daughter, Devon Jowers of Athens, GA; step-children, Shane Allred, Scott Allred, Steven Allred, and A.J. Allred; numerous grandchildren including Nic Obermiller.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
