Mrs.  Virginia Louise Rohde passed away peacefully September 13, 2018 under the care of Hospice Savannah.  Virginia was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Harry Diehl and Clara Schmid.  She was married to Warren Rohde in 1952 and the two set up their home in Bellport NY.  She was a resident of her beloved town of Bellport until 2009, when she moved to Richmond Hill GA to live with her son and daughter-in-law.  Virginia loved Bellport and she and Warren raised two children on the Great South Bay.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother Raymond Diehl and her daughter Kristin Rohde.

She is survived by her son Daniel Rohde (Carrie), Grandchildren Krysta Zangle (Matt), Nathaniel Rohde, Devon Rohde and Dana Rohde and Great Granddaughter Annie Zangle.  She is also survived by her sister-in-law Joy Diehl and two nieces Kathryn Kherlopian (Mehr) and Beth Scioscio (Paul) and their children.

A private Memorial Services will take place in Bellport NY.
