Virginia V Crosby, 91 of Richmond Hill, GA passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Riceboro, GA surrounded by her loving family.  Virginia was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  She worked at Richmond Hill Primary School until her retirement in 2007. Virginia was a faithful member of the Daniel Baptist church since moving to Richmond Hill in 1975.  If you knew Virginia, you knew that she loved the Lord with her whole heart and loved others also. She had the kindest heart and lived out her faith in everything she did.

Virginia was also a gifted and accomplished poet.  She had won multiple awards, and recognition for her many poems, which were inspired by her family, her faith, her childhood and everyday life.

Virginia is survived by her two sisters, Myra Hoffman of Ohio, Velma Saunders also of Ohio.  Her Children, daughter, Janice Martin (David) of Flemington, GA, son Lee Crosby (Debbie) of Riceboro, GA, daughter Carla Ford of Riceboro, GA and daughter Karen Crews (James) also of Riceboro, GA.

Virginia had 9 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her Parents, Roy Raybon O'Brien and Dorothy Azalee O'Brien of Hanahan, SC, her brothers Franklin O'Brien of Goose Creek, SC, Raybon O'Brien of Murphy, NC, and Pat O'Brien of Charleston, SC.

Services for Virginia are Thursday, 20 June 2024 at 2:00 p.m., at the Richmond Hill Funeral with visitation from 1 p.m. till 2 p.m. Burial at Daniel Baptist Cemetery after the service.
