Vaughndine Cowart, age 62, entered into eternal rest on December 3, 2017.

Vaughndine was born in Savannah. She lived all of her life in Richmond Hill.

She was a member of Church of Christ in Richmond Hill. Vaughndine enjoyed listening to and singing gospel music.  She loved reading her Bible.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Umeka Bacon.

Vaughndine is survived by her sisters, Irene Jenkins, Elizabeth Frazier, Sallie Cowart, and Olivia Scriven; her brothers, Oliver Lee Cowart, Jr., Jimmy Brooks, and Arthur Miller; her grandchildren, Tia Payne, Adara Bacon; two great-grandchildren, Johnte Lincoln, Trey Payne; her God-daughter, Breanna Partridge; special nieces, Patrice Shellman, Theresa Miller, Sheleia Taylor; and a special nephew, John Shellman.

Viewing will be held from 12 pm to 4pm, Friday, December 8, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 11, 2017 at Richmond Hill Full Gospel Church on Hwy 17 South. Burial will follow in Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery.
