In Loving Memory of Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr.

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr., who entered eternal rest and went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, September 10, 2026, at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, following a long and extended illness.

Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr. was born in Savannah, Georgia, and later made Richmond Hill, Georgia, his final home. He was a hardworking and determined man who believed deeply in family, building something meaningful, and creating a legacy that would live on long after him.

One of Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr.’s proudest accomplishments was establishing his own business in honor of his beloved mother, using her name to begin a legacy he hoped would continue through his children. Sweet Sarah Ann will be carried on and never forgotten through his dump trucking business, a lasting reminder of his determination, hard work, and love for his family.

Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr. was preceded in death by his loved ones Zackery Bush, Domonick Bush, and Jackie Bush. Although their absence brought sorrow during his lifetime, there is comfort in believing that he has now been reunited with those who went before him.

Cherished Memories

Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr. leaves behind a lifetime of precious memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory his two wonderful children, Tyrone and Trinity Bush; his precious and only grandchild, Princeton Amir Bush; and his daughter-in-law, Cassidy Smiley, mother of his only grandchild. Through them, a beautiful part of Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr. will continue to live on for generations to come.

He also leaves to cherish his memory his longtime friend of 24 years and mother of Tyrone and Trinity, Marisha Jovette White, who shared with him more than two decades of love, laughter, challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable memories.

Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr. will also be lovingly remembered by his father, Jack Bush and Lisa Bush; Deana Bush, Domonique Bush, Ebony Bush (sister-in-law), Octavia Bush, Krystal Bush, Shaquanna King, Moneak King, and Latoya King; his loving nephews, Trenton Bush and Zackery B. Bush Jr.; his niece, Joy Owens; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.

Each person held a special place in Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr.’s heart, and each carries memories that death can never erase. The conversations, laughter, lessons, love, and moments they shared with him will become treasures held close to their hearts.

Though Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr.’s earthly journey has come to an end, his story does not end here. It continues through his children and grandchild, through his family, through the business and legacy he worked so hard to build, and through every person whose life was touched by his presence.

After a long and courageous battle, Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr. can finally rest. No more pain. No more suffering. Just peace.

His family will continue to speak his name, share his stories, honor his memory, and carry his love wherever life takes them. His presence may no longer be seen, but the love he gave will never leave their hearts.

Rest peacefully, Tyrone Cornell Bush Sr. You fought your fight, you left your mark, and you created a legacy that will live beyond your years. You will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Richmond Hill Funeral Home on Friday, September 18th, 2026. 

A Home Going Celebration will be held on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 at 2 p.m. at Restoration Worship Center in Richmond Hill, GA.

Burial will follow at the Bryan Neck Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
