Thomas Ray White, 85, of Richmond Hill, Georgia (formerly of Decatur, Alabama) passed away peacefully on Monday April 28. Mr. White was born September 19, 1939 to Samuel White and Myrtle Anderson White. Mr. White is survived by his wife of 66 years June White, daughter Lee Ann Corbin (Chris), grandson Cameron Corbin (Kayla), 2 great grandchildren Chandler and Landry Corbin, and several special nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by his parents; sisters Helen King, Clovis McCluskey, Barbara Taylor; brothers James White and twin brother Ralph White.

Mr. White was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1963 and served 2 years at Fort Hood Texas. He retired from Monsanto Chemicals in Decatur Alabama after 28 years. He was an avid golfer most of his life, and enjoyed watching and rooting for the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Atlanta Braves. Most of all he loved spending time and playing games with his family and friends. Anyone who met Ray will always remember him for his kindness and his fun loving personality.

Funeral Services for Mr. White will be held on Friday, May 2 at 1:00 P.M at Bethel Baptist Church in Richmond Hill Georgia with Pastor Brian Cooper officiating. Visitation will begin on Friday, May 2 at noon. Burial will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Richmond Hill, Georgia.

Pallbearers include: Chris Corbin, Cameron Corbin, Nathan Bonner, Nate Kilburn, Scott Ridgeway, and Tony Marion.
