Thomas "Tommy" Michael Lewis died March 22, 2023, at Memorial University Medical Center. He was born in Savannah to Hugh and Susan Lewis. His deep love of family was always evident during his 60 years of life.

Tommy was an avid hunter and traveled to many places in search of big game. Before his illness, he was a member of the Savannah Forest City Gun Club and loved the Georgia Bulldogs Football team.

He attended Winthrop University, where he met his wife, Scarlett, on a Basketball Scholarship. He loved boating, live music especially Southern Rock, and mostly his adoring family.

He was an entrepreneur, working as a Life Insurance agent at Symmetry Financial Group and owned Sod Man his own successful landscaping company. He truly made an impact on everyone he met.

He is survived by his wife, Scarlett Irene Lewis; his sons Elliott Lewis (Heather), Thomas Lewis (Sarah), Pierce Lewis (Payton); his daughter, Abigail Lewis; brothers Hugh Lewis and Randy Gardner (Lorraine); sister Kathy Gerber (Bryan); several nieces and nephews he loved dearly and his "bonus family" Garrett Armstrong, Caitlin McCain and Henry McCain.

A Celebration of Tommy's Life will be held at the St. John Episcopal Church in downtown Savannah, Friday 31 March 2023 at 11 AM. Flowers must be delivered to the church.
