Thomas Francis Harris, 71, passed away on November 11, 2023. He was born on July 14, 1952 in Hollywood, FL to Eugene and Jean Harris. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Kathleen, his children Joseph and Josh, his granddaughter Abigail, and siblings Bobby, Don, Donna, Greg, Joyce, Michelle, Terry, and Tim. Tom was preceded in death by his mother Jean, his father Eugene, stepmother Sally, and sister Kathy.

Tom retired as a Sergeant First Class from the U.S. Army in 1998, after 20 years of service. He earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Monterey Peninsula College and a master's degree in business from Georgia Southern University. Following the military, he worked as a computer programmer at PST Inc, Gulfstream Aerospace, and The Catholic Diocese of Savannah.

Tom was also involved in his community. He was a member and former Grand Knight of The Knights of Columbus and member of the Richmond Hill Community Theatre as an actor, treasurer, and technical director. Following his retirement, he fulfilled his passion for acting through roles in movies being filmed in the Savannah area, volunteering in the film department at Savannah Technical College, and co-founding Irish Pizza Productions, where he served as producer on 23 short films.

A visitation service will be held at Richmond Hill Funeral Home (8901 Ford Ave, Richmond Hill, GA 31324) on November 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with a prayer vigil beginning at 2:30 PM.

A funeral mass will also be held at St. Anne's Catholic Church (10550 Ford Ave, Richmond Hill, GA 31324) on December 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM.

Tom was a loving, compassionate, supportive, intelligent, genuine, and humble man that left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him, and he will be dearly missed.
