It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tanya Nicole Erving, on March 2, 2023 at the age of 48. She had been battling cancer for some time and went peacefully that morning surrounded by loved ones in Rincon, GA.

Tanya was preceded in death by her husband, Pernell Boston and her father, Denzil Nicholas.

She is survived by her daughters, Jasmin Erving, Whitney Erving, Victoria Erving, and Shanell Erving; her mother, Carol Anne Nicholas; a sister, Laura Erving; two brothers, Billy Erving, and Chad Erving (Danielle); and two grandchildren, Everest Erving and Aria Erving; and numerous other family members.

Tanya had a heart of gold and an infectious laughter that will never be forgotten. She was a devoted mother and wife who loved her family fiercely. No matter the date or hour she was always there pick up the phone or help in our time if need. She loved spending time with family and reminiscing about growing up in West Virginia. Tanya also loved her job as a dispatcher and was a devout employee for SRM Concrete at time of passing. She worked in concrete business for 16 years was passionate about the business. She will forever be missed by those who loved her and her light will live on through her daughters.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in the Midway First Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
