Smith-Dobbins, Sue Nell, age 95, of Hermitage, TN, died October 1, 2017.

Mrs. Smith-Dobbins was a member of Hermitage Church of the Nazarene. She was a resident of Savannah, Georgia for many years and lived in the Bellville/Claxton area after her retirement. She attended Georgia Southern University and served in the WACS during WWII. Mrs. Smith-Dobbins was the daughter of the late, John Leroy and Mary Lizzie McCord Rogers. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Bernard Ostelle Smith and Darvin Dobbins; son, Roger Ostelle Smith and siblings, Edwin Rogers, Lawton Rogers, Ann Crapo and Edna Hartley.

Sons – Bobby (Rondy) Smith and Stewart Smith

Daughter – Anna (Howard) Plummer

Brother – Rommie Thompson

Sister – Jane Prosser

8 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be conducted 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Hermitage Church of the Nazarene, 4151 Saundersville Road, Old Hickory, TN with Pastor Howard Plummer officiating.

In Richmond Hill, funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon EST Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home, 8901 Ford Ave., Richmond Hill, GA with visitation one hour prior to the service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
