Steven Mack Spears, 56, passed away Friday, February 14, 2020 at his residence after a brief illness.

Mack was born in Man, WV. He was raised in South Amherst, OH and has lived in Richmond Hill for the past 20 years. He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran having served 20 years in the service. Mack enjoyed fishing, camping, shooting his guns, and reloading his gun shells.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Oakley of Richmond Hill; his parents, Ida and Marlo Spears of South Amherst, OH; two sons, Steven Spears (Shanda) of Atwater, CA and Joseph Spears (Michelle) of Sacramento, CA; his brother, Bobby Spears (Kristin) of Ft. Myers, FL; his brother-in-law, Chris Oakley of Richmond Hill; his grandchildren, Joanna, Catherine, and Anna; his nieces and nephews, Kevin, Adam, Carl, and Lily.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 19, 2020 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
