Steven Carroll Ray, age 58, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Born in Alexandria, Virginia, Steven had made Richmond Hill his home for the past five years after previously residing in Paulding County, Georgia. Steven was a retired U.S. Army Veteran having served in Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He worked as a carpenter for 20 years.

Steven enjoyed reading, sports cars, model trains, and spending time with his beloved cats and dogs. Above all else, he cherished his family, especially his children, who were the greatest joy of his life.

He is survived by his loving wife, Cheri Ray; his daughters, Tanya Caccavale (Chase) and Chloe Ray; his sons, Taylor Ray (Kelsey) and Riley Ray; his parents, Tom and Carol Ray; his brothers, Johnny Ray and Jeff Ray (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Aiden, Addison, and Knox; and his mother-in-law, Ginger Smith.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
