Savannah-Scottie Ray Miller, Sr. passed away January 18, 2017.
Scottie lived most of his life in Savannah. He retired after 33 years as a truck driver with Durst Baking Company. He was a U.S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Scottie is survived by his daughter, Lisa Wright (Joey) of Richmond Hill; son, Scottie R. Miller, Jr. (Marie) of Guyton; sisters, Jean Hill of Alabama, Shirley Fortney of Kentucky; brother, Jackie Miller of North Carolina; 4 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home.
