Scott J. Cummings, age 65, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at his residence.

Scott was born in New Jersey. He grew up in Ridgeland, SC.  Scott lived a number of years in Eden before making his home in Midway 31 years ago.  He worked as a pipefitter for Local 188 and Hercules Inc.  He owned and operated Riverside Heating and Air for many years.

Scott loved his tractor, motorcycles and working on classic cars.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Cummings of Midway; his son, John Clark Patrick of Midway; his daughters, Stephanie Strickland (Randal Robbins), Melissa Harley (Richard Cain), and Roxanne DeLoach (Nicholas) all of Midway; nine grandchildren; and twenty one great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm, Monday, November 26, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2pm, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fleming.
