Scarlett Scott Cartwright, age 63, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born and raised in Reidsville, GA and has lived in Midway for the past 15 years.  Scarlett was an Registered Nurse at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center and formerly worked at Glenvue Nursing Home in Glennville.

Scarlett loved to cook and work in the yard.  She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.  She was a loving wife and a caring person to all that knew her.  She was a woman of faith who loved God with all of her heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Thomas and Eula Mae Scott.

Scarlett is survived by her husband of 24 years, Mark Cartwright; her birth mother, Ruth Britt; two sons; Scott Thomas Eason (Lora) and Joshua Sterling Eason (Kim); her step-son, Daniel Justin Cartwright (Victoria); her sister, Samantha Bennett (Donnie); her brothers, Chris Thompson (Melanie), William Thompson, Jr. (Kimberly), Patrick Thompson (Heather); 8 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Ferguson Baptist Church in Savannah.
