Sarah Frances Scott, age 90, passed away Sunday, July 7,2024 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Sarah has lived most of her life in Richmond Hill.  She worked as a manager/clerk for C&R Grocery and was a homemaker.

She loved her flowers and working in her yard.  Sarah enjoyed ceramics and she loved her cats.

Sarah was loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas T. Scott and a son, Fred G. Scott.

Sarah is survived by her daughters, Marie Rushing (George) and Paula Scott; her son, Thomas Richard "Ricky" Scott (Barbara); 3 grandchildren, Angel Dudley (Ricky), Amanda Yachmetz (Matt), and Fred Scott (Destiny); and 5 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial will follow in Richmond Hill First Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Bryan County Animal Shelter or to the American Heart Association.
