Sandra "Sandy" Weil Driggers, age 78, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022 at her residence.

Sandy was born in Savannah.  She lived most of her life in Savannah before moving to Richmond Hill in 2002.

She was a retired hairdresser having worked at Oceanside Nursing Home and Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation Center.  Sandy was a member of First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill.

Sandy loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs and Atlanta Falcons football.  She liked to water ski and travel.  Visiting Israel was the high point of her life.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Driggers, Sr. and her son, John Thomas Driggers, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Kirby of Richmond Hill; her daughter-in-law, Julie Driggers of South Bend, IN; a sister, Ginger Caplan (Gerald) of Savannah; a brother, Danny Weil (Loyce) of Richmond Hill; grandchildren, Christopher Hodges (Lauren), Jennifer Hodges (Bill), Jessica Goode (Anthony), Elizabeth Driggers, and Joey Driggers; and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
