Sandra Marie Currin, 77, of Mechanicsville Virginia, passed peacefully at home October 25, 2023.  She is survived by a sister Judith Hightower of Richmond Hill, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.

Sandi was born in Richmond, Virginia where she attended VCU.  Later, she moved to Mechanicsville, Virginia where she bred and raised horses.  Sandi worked as a virologist for the State of Virginia and enjoyed bowling, camping trips, and trail riding  with her friends. Sandi was an avid horticulturist.
Sandra is preceded in death by her loving mother and father, Charles and Elsie Currin, and a sister Patricia Aube-Vadnais
