Ronnie Strickland, age 75 passed away Sunday, June 8, 2025 at Memorial University Medical Center.

Ronnie was born in Savannah.  He has lived in Richmond Hill for the past 34 years. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church where served as a Deacon and on two Pastor Service Committees.

He was a U.S. Army Veteran retiring as 1st. Sgt. after 21 years of service.  After retiring from the Army, Ronnie worked as Chapter Manager for the National Electrical Contractors Association.  He taught math at the Electricians Training Program.

Ronnie loved to hunt and was an avid gun collector. He enjoyed going to the gun range.  He won several trophies for the Army Shooting Team.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Tardiff; his step-father, Lee Tardiff; his father, Theo Strickland; and his brother, Theo Strickland, Jr.

Ronnie is survived by his wife, Jackie Strickland; his daughter, Angela Kennedy (Jeff); his son, David Strickland (Metinee); his brother, Bill Strickland; his 3 grandchildren, Chloe Strickland, Ethan Strickland, and Parker Grace Kennedy.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Corinth Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Burial with military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
