Rocky "Rock" Mallard, age 56, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Rocky was born in Water Valley, MS.  He lived a number of years in Savannah before moving to Richmond Hill 27 years ago.

He was the former owner of The Mattress Store.  Rocky worked for J.C. Lewis Ford in Savannah.  He was a charter member of Fort McAllister Sport Fishing Club where he started the Bikes for Tykes Fishing Tournament.  He was also a member of the Kilkenny Inshore Fishing Club and the Shellman Bluff Fishing Camp.  He fished yearly in the Southern King Fish Association Tournament.

Besides being an avid fisherman, he enjoyed playing chess and playing Texas hold 'em.  He was gentle, funny, and very competitive.  He loved to dance.

Rocky was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Mary Mallard; and a daughter, Khristina Martin.

He is survived by his daughter, Marie Mastison (Danny) of Savannah; his grandchildren, Olivia, Isabella, Kinley, Nyaomei, Londyn, Michael, and Layton; his aunt and uncle, Ann Carr (Larry) of Mississippi; great uncles and aunts, John Stark (Judy), Moses Stark, and Elias Stark all of Mississippi.
