Robert Walter Jarrell, Jr., 61, of Richmond Hill, passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2022.

Bobby was born to Robert Walter Jarrell, Sr. and Harriet Nease Jarrell.

He was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity while attending Armstrong. Upon graduation from Georgia Southern, he was employed as an accountant for Amoco Fabrics & Fibers.

While living in Douglasville, he and his wife, Terri, opened their own CPA firm. Moving back to South Georgia, they continued their firm in Savannah, eventually moving the office to Richmond Hill. Known for his humor, he was able to turn any situation into a laugh, even large tax bills. He was known to gracefully be the second person to leave any event. His opinion was valued by clients, employees, and family. He generously and anonymously assisted others.

Predeceased by his parents and sister-in-law, Lori Jarrell, those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 36 years, Terri McCall Jarrell, daughters Brittany Jarrell, Kelli Walsh, and son-in-law Hunter Walsh. In addition, he leaves behind his brother Randall Jarrell, niece Taylor Jarrell and fiancé Brendon Bryant; mother-in-law Jean McCall; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Chuck and Dawn McCall; niece Lauren Ford and nephew-in-law Brandon, great-nephew Charlie; nephews Hunter and Chase McCall; as well as numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah.

The family wishes to acknowledge the expert, compassionate care of St. Joseph's ICU and CCU medical team and staff.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richmond Hill United Methodist Church Building Fund or Richmond Hill Lions Club.
