Robert Allen Thorpe, age 77, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024.

Allen was born in Marquette City, MI.  He has lived in Richmond Hill and Fleming most of his life.  He was a retired U.S. Army Veteran and later retired as a mechanic for Richmond Hill Auto Center.

Allen enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and crabbing.  He was a member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Maxine Thorpe; his children, Brandy Dent (Andy), Patrick Patton (Amanda), and Kilynda Moore (Jamin); his sister, Charlotte Reel; his grandchildren, Waverly, Lily, Colby, Kaylie, Jay, Gabbie and Aiden; and two great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the home of Lisa and Barry Humrich, 19899 Hwy 144, Richmond Hill, GA 31324.
