Robert "Rob" Perry Hernandez, age 49, died peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving wife and children.

Rob was born in Savannah and has lived in Panama City Beach for a number of years. He worked for 16 years in the automotive industry and was the finance manager at John Lee Nissan in Panama City, FL.

Rob was an adoring husband, proud and devoted father, loving son and brother, and loyal friend. Family and friends were his foundation.  Rob enjoyed fishing, greyhound racing, and an avid Atlanta Falcons fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hernandez; maternal grandparents, Arthur and Lucille Walker-Backhaus; paternal grandparents, Josie and Perry Hernandez; and a niece, Brandy Davis.

Rob is survived by his wife of 20 years, Dana Worley; his daughters, Kayla Rochelle Sapp and Sarah Lynn Hernandez; his sons, Clayton Worley and Seth Michael Hernandez; his mother, Willa Hernandez; his sisters, Sonia Saylor (Todd), Kimberly Hernandez-Hunsinger, Terry Cooper (Van), and Bunny Williams; his aunts and uncles, Robert Walker (Leslie), Larry Walker (Marie), Patsy Aldridge (Chan), Danny Walker, John Walker (Karin), and Julie Blair; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Holland officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to assist them with medical and funeral expenses.
