Robert Leamon Barnes, Jr. (73) passed away Friday, September 15, 2017.

Bob was born in Savannah, GA. He has lived in Midway, GA for the past 45 years and is a member and deacon at Fleming Baptist Church. He retired from Interstate Paper Corporation.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Evie Barnes; Sisters, Lavine Cobia and Faye Hearon.

Bob is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Drew and Amy Barnes of Ellabell, GA; two grandchildren, Dylan and Hunter Barnes of Ellabell, GA; sisters, Corine Jaudon of Savannah, GA and Martheda Humphries of Savannah, GA and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Dylan Barnes, Hunter Barnes, Ed Cobia, Carter Jaudon, Michael Vaughn, Hank Vaughn, Kenny Ferguson, and Mark Cox.

Honorary Pallbearers: JC Thompson, Carl Cox, Randy Butler and Danny Goodman, and Jerry Bragg.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah.
