Richard "Rickey" Anthony Yanner, 61, passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Hospice Savannah.

Rickey was born in Savannah. He lived in Hilton Head and South Newport for many years but spent most of his life in Savannah.  He was a member of the Local 26 Boilermakers Union and a member of Knight of Columbus.

Rickey loved playing charity golf tournaments. He enjoyed his gambling and having a good time and partying with his friends. Rickey especially liked riding his Harley.

Mr. Yanner was preceded in death by his parents, James Frederick and Sybil Hall Yanner.

Rickey is survived by his step-daughter, Renee Carlton Livingood of Savannah; his brother, James Clayton Yanner of Florida; nephews, James F. Yanner and Mickey Martin; nieces, Amy Yanner and Amber Yanner; a great-niece, Jaymeson Blaine Yanner; his grandson, Brandon Lee Wilson, Jr.; his close friends, Camilo and Kelly Macia, and Carl Lee.

He loved every love like his first and fought every battle like his last. He will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020 at the Moose Lodge, 2202 Norwood Avenue, Savannah, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Rickey's honor to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.

Flowers need to be delivered to the Moose Lodge.
