Richard Ernest Pauly, age 86, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Savannah.

Richard was born in Lynbrook, NY. He lived in Fleming, GA for many years before moving to Richmond Hill nine years ago. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and retired from St. Joseph's Hospital lawn maintenance department after 30 years of service.

He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. Richard liked to bowl and loved to shop.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Nettie Frances Rich.

Richard is survived by his step-children, Annette Goodrich of Richmond Hill, Rena Middleton of Hinesville, and David Cook of Richmond Hill; a brother, William O. Pauly, Jr. of Ft. Lauderdale; several nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
