Richard V. Acord, age 75, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022.

Richard was born in Bloomington, Indiana.  He lived in Savannah for many years before moving to Richmond Hill 22 years ago.

He was a retired self employed photographer.  Richard enjoyed playing pool, riding motorcycles, and hanging out with his grandchildren.  He was a big dog lover.

Richard is survived by his wife, Debora Hucks Acord of Richmond Hill; daughters, LeAnne E. Riner and April D. Acord; sons, Tom Acord, Richard Verlon Acord, II; and Richard V. Acord, III; sisters, Sharon White, Michelle Oehler, Carol Lavender, Tina Boyden and Denise Young; a brother, Kurt Hibner; 13 grandchidlren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m., Friday, October 21, 2022 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
