Phyllis Hope Evans, 94, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021.

She was born in St. Saint Paul, MN and has lived in Richmond Hill for the past 5 years.

Phyllis received her Master's in Education from the University of Minnesota and taught college level chemistry.

She was a lover of Jesus Christ and was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church in Saint Paul.  She attend Risen Savior Lutheran Church in Pooler, GA.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of over 50 years, Raymond Evans, and her sister, Virginia.

She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Mitchell and grandchildren, Crystal, Candice, Katie, Desmond (Jessica), and Camay.  She also leaves behind 6 great-grandchildren who all loved her.

Philippians 1:22-23 "If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet Shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is by far better;"

Funeral Services will be held by the family at a later date in St. Paul, Minnesota.
