In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 7, Ms. Peggy Ann Callaway, peacefully passed away at home at the age of 85 due to natural causes. For over 34 years, she called Richmond Hill, GA, her home.

Born on October 26, 1937, to Ernest Jarrett and Dixi Pauline Letlow in Holtville, Alabama, Ms. Callaway's journey was marked by dedication and love. She served as a food service worker in the Richmond Hill School System for many years, leaving an indelible mark on the community she served.

Peggy was more than a devoted professional; she was a loving mother and grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. Her absence will be keenly felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her. A woman of deep faith, she now resides in heaven, reunited with her father and Lord Jesus.

Ms. Callaway is survived by her three daughters: Belinda Weber (Jeff) of Jesup, GA; Melissa Callaway-Fordham (Mike) of Richmond Hill, GA; and Madaline Foster (David) of Jesup, GA.; her brother, Charles Jarrett of Alabama.  Her memory lives on in the hearts of her grandchildren: Wayne Webber of Washington State, Angela Weber of Wisconsin, Jamie Moore of Richmond Hill, Mya Moore of Richmond Hill, Crystal Jones of Jesup, GA, and Sheree Griffis of Jesup, along with seven great-grandchildren.

In honoring her wishes, services will be private.
