Paul Lawrence (Larry) Lopez was born December 6, 1941 in New York City, New

York to Fernando Lopez and Elizabeth Surma.

Preceded him in death brother, Fred Lopez, Jr. ( Mary ).

Paul is survived by his sisters, Janice Lopez and Jeanette

Boyle. He greatly loved his nephews and nieces, Robert Brockell, deceased(

Dargis ), Gini Nicholls, , Briana Brockell, Alexa

Brockell, Jeanette Pham (Henry ),

Kagen Philips (Alden ), and Spenser Philips, Dawson Nicholls, Jimi

Nicholls, and Maci Nicholls.

He was a generous and thoughtful person who never forgot a birthday or other

occasion of family and friends and always lent a hand if needed for any task. He

enjoyed life and was always happy when dancing to the latest styles of music or

cooking a special dish, and we had many fun sessions over coffee bantering with

him almost daily.

His love for animals led him to bring home many dogs over the years and his

chosen profession as a breeder and groomer gave him much satisfaction.

He was brave and independent and never complained about any of his ailments

over these many years.

During his lifetime, he was never far from his family. He appreciated his life so

much he that he could recall the slightest detail of our childhood and mischief

that we could not.

Greatly loved and missed he left this mortal life and entered into his eternal life

on June 20, 2022 joining the other members of our family gone before him.
