Patricia O. Bashlor, 62, of Richmond Hill, was welcomed home by her Lord and Saviour on September 9, 2024, after a life of service to others.
Known best as "Pat" to her family and friends, Pat was born on September 20, 1961, in Savannah. Pat lived a life filled with tremendous passion and a servant's heart toward others.  She graduated from Portal High in 1980.  Pat worked at various places but in her last 12 years she served Magnolia Manor Senior Living as a housekeeping supervisor. Pat leaves an unfillable void in the lives of her family, friends and colleagues yet they find comfort in the memories and time spent together.

Pat lived her life the best she knew how by serving others and putting them before herself. She was always willing to lend a hand and "it's not my job" was never part of her response to a request.  Pat left this world with the hope her sons, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren would know how much she loved them.  While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in where she is, and her body and been made whole.
Pat was predeceased by her parents, Priscilla and Eugene Oglesby, who have passed away.

She is survived by her sons Aaron (Keely) and Jason along with her grandchildren Jayla, Luna, Lyla, Sebastian, Landon, Macy, and Justice who she loved immensely. Pat spent as much time as possible with her family, especially her grandchildren.

A special thanks to Magnolia Manor and Compassus Hospice (Maryam/Stacey) for taking great care of Pat over the last few weeks.  Also, to those who walked alongside her on this journey.

In Pat fashion, she never liked being the center of attention, a celebration of Pat's life will be held on Sunday, September 15th at 3pm at Magnolia Manor in Richmond Hill.
