Pooler-Patricia Ann Adkins Bowen, age 79, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Bowen was born in Barbersville, WV. She traveled all over the world with her late husband, Ervin Ray Bowen, and her children while he was in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Air Force. She lived in Jacksonville, NC for a number of years before moving to Richmond Hill and then to Pooler where she has lived for the past 16 months.

Patricia was a former member of Jasper Springs Baptist Church in Garden City and is presently a member of The Crossroad Baptist Church in Savannah. She taught Sunday school and ministered to various senior centers. She loved music and her dogs.

Mrs. Bowen is preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Ray Bowen.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Lynn Bowen of Savannah; her son, Johnny Ray Bowen (Geneva) of Pooler; a sister, Elizabeth Hadley of Bellview, IL; her grandchildren, Joseph deBeruff Waite (Dr. Rhea ) of Portland, OR, Melissa Dawn Dye (James) of Powder Springs, GA, Christopher Ray Bowen (April) of Guyton, GA; her great-grandchildren, Chandler Ray Bowen, Isla Renee Bowen, Zoey Ann Bowen, Jonathan William Dye, and Juno Amelia Waite; and her beloved dog "Jerry".

Visitation: 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at The Crossroad Baptist Church in Savannah with Rev. Buddy Wasson officiating.

Burial will follow at 2:30 pm in Magnolia Memorial Gardens in Savannah.
