Pamela Sue Brooker, affectionately called Ammie by her grandbabies, passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, September 28th.

She was born and raised in Austin, Minnesota and loved to tell stories of growing up making doughnuts and decorating cakes alongside her siblings at her family's bakery, Austin Bakery.

She was called to be a nurse and followed in the footsteps of her mother and sisters after graduating high school. After being swept off her feet by a southern gentleman, she married Charles Burnell Brooker of Douglas, Georgia. They relocated to Fredericksburg, Virginia and then Richmond Hill, Georgia in 1990.

Pam was a natural hostess and her beauty shone brightest when she was in service to others. We truly believe her legacy will live on in those who she cared for and loved. She loved to spend time baking and over the years perfected an unbeatable pound cake.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Brooker.

She is survived by her children, siblings, grandchildren, and grandpuppies.

A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday October 14th at 3:00 PM at 1832 Walthour Road Savannah, Georgia 31410.
