Nicholas "Nicky" B. Anderson, Sr. 75, went to be with his Lord and Savior February 8, 2018 at St. Joseph Hospital surrounded by his family after a brief illness.

He was a resident of Richmond Hill and a faithful member of the Richmond Hill Baptist Church.

Nicky joined the Marine Corps in 1960, serving his country with pride for four years. He worked for Union Camp (IP) where he retired after 45 years of dedicated employment.

He was a longtime member of the Cuyler Hunting and Fishing Club at Black Creek, where he loved fishing, camping and cooking with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Heyward and Henrietta Anderson; brother, Ebb Anderson and brother-in-law, Donnie Sutton.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Camille; son, Nicholas B Anderson, Jr. (Gemma); grandson, Carter; stepson, Michael Knabb (Shannon; sisters, Brenda Sutton and Jill Lanier (Rusty); sister-in-law, Patsy Anderson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, February 12 at the First Baptist Church at 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 12 p.m.

Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery in Pooler GA.
