Nadine Wainwright, age 81, of Fleming, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 3, 1943 in Thomaston, GA to parents, Clyde H. McCrackin and Eula Parkerson.  She married the love of her life, Jim Wainwright on January 16, 1960 and was married for 51 years.

Nadine was a devoted Christian with unshakeable faith.  She was a beloved grandma, memaw, and a compassionate mother and faithful friend.  Nadine was a source of unconditional love and her love was felt with every home cooked meal, heartwarming hug, joyful soul and sunny smile.

Nadine was a homemaker and a caregiver to others.  She was a member of 34 years of Daniel Baptist Church where she served in the nursery for the past 20 years.

Nadine enjoyed her time going on trips with her family, playing cards, spending time at the beach, and listening to music.  She never missed an opportunity to cut-a-rug.

She was preceded in death her husband, Jim Wainwright; 3 sisters, Johnnie, Carrel, and Tommie.

Nadine is survived by her children, Janie Carter (Rusty), Donna Rothermel (Martyn), Jimmy Wainwright (Tracy), Timmy Wainwright (Leslie), and Donald Beasley (Deborah); her brother, Ricky Haynes (Carol); her sister, Margie Lindsey (Robert); 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; her best friend of 30 years, Kathleen Stapleton; and her granddaughter, Jessica, who has been a devoted caregiver to her grandmother.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 21, 2025 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Daniel Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in Daniel Baptist Cemetery.
