He was widely known for his two acclaimed publications, My Joy and Special Savannah, which captured the wonder of everyday life, the spirit of community, and the timeless charm of his favorite places. These works reflected not only his technical skill but his deep love for people, landscapes, and moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Throughout his career, Micheal's photography was more than a profession — it was his purpose. He brought comfort, connection, and inspiration through his lens, encouraging others to look closely at the world around them and find meaning in simple things. Micheal was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Bonnie Kortes.
