Matthew McCorkle, age 45, passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Matt was born in Atlanta, Ga and lived his entire life in Roswell.  He was a Shop Steward for UPS representing the union workers whom he loved.

He had formal training as a chef and he loved to cook and feed everyone.  Matt was a Luthier, creating custom guitars.  He was a talented musician.

He loved to fish, hunt,  and play with reptiles.

Matt is survived by his children, Julian Criscuolo of Roswell and Gabriela McCorkle of Roswell; he was an honorary father to, Olivia Harmon; his parents, Doug and Jane McCorkle of Roswell; his sister, Alison McCorkle (Benjamin Vass) of Athens; and a nephew, Aidan James McCorkle.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:30 p.m., Sunday, January 22, 2023 at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell, GA.
