It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Mary Elizabeth (Lib) Widener, a woman of boundless energy and intelligence. Mary was born July 12, 1940 in Blackshear, GA to the late John H. Sellers and Naomi Morgan. She transitioned out of this life Tuesday March 3, surrounded by family and friends at her home in Richmond Hill, GA after a courageous battle with cancer. She touched many lives with her wisdom, humor and unwavering spirit of perseverance.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Lloyd Waynne Widener, along with her daughter Janel L Widener, and son Wesley M. Vann Jr. She was also proceeded in death by her brother John H. Sellers.
Mary is survived by her daughter Lori Widener and her son Jason Widener (Ginnifer Widener), her grandchildren, Heather Widener, Ardyn Widener, John Rice (Christina), Brian Rice (Ariel), Great grandchildren Kellen Widener, Colton Rice, Lindsey Bond, Ashley Robb Cheynne Rice and Declan Rice.

Funeral Services will be held Friday March 6 th at 12pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints -1200 King George Blvd, Savannah, GA, with a viewing from 11-12.

Burial will follow at 2:00PM at Maye River Baptist Church, 3507 Okatie Hwy, Bluffton, SC
Pallbearers are Chris Sellers, Brody Sellers, Colton Sellers, Anderew Lee, Partick Wrenn and Richard Doty.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Mary's memory to Hospice of Savannah.
