Marvin L. Winn, Jr., age 90, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2025.

Marvin was born in Savannah and has lived here most of his life.  He was a retired crane operator for Operating Engineers Local 474.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #46, Scottish Rite, the Alee Temple, and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Savannah.

He enjoyed fishing and raising his grandchildren.  Marvin loved NASCAR and all types of car racing.  He liked watching old home videos of his family.

Marvin is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Winn and a daughter, Angela McMickle.

He is survived by his three daughters, Miriam Rahn (Brad), Gretchen Lynch (Lee), and Gretta Brown; his two sons, Marvin L. Winn, III (Shirley) and Oney Winn (Deborah); fifteen grandchildren; twenty seven great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Savannah.

The family will receive friends at the cemetery.
