Marjorie "Margie" Woods, 79, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Margie was born in Statesboro, GA. She has lived in Fleming most of her life.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Margie had a passion for family, flowers, and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Maggie Williams, and a son, Walter "Jimmy" Thacker.

Margie is survived by her husband, Larry Woods of Fleming; her children, Michael Thacker, Kimberly Davis (Tommy), Keith Thacker (Bertha), Wendy Shuman (Perry), and Lisa Cato (Willie); thirteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and her aunt, Mattie Coleman.

Visitation will be held from 6 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Richmond Hill Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Cooper officiating.

Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery in Fleming.
