Marion C. Martin, age 86, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Hospice Savannah.

Marion was born in York, SC. He lived in Cleveland, GA for many years before moving to Richmond Hill.

Marion was a retired high voltage electrician for the U.S. Civil Service. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a member of Concord Baptist Church in Clermont, GA.  He was an avid fisherman and he loved to laugh and was nicknamed "Happy".

Marion is survived by his wife Frances Martin of Cleveland, GA; his daughter, Barbara McDowell (Richard) of Richmond Hill; his sons, John Martin of Virginia Beach, VA, and Dale Martin (Bonnie) of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, John Wayne Martin (Peggy) of Dallas, GA; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial graveside service will be on Friday, May 29, 2020 at First Baptist Cemetery, Richmond Hill, GA.
