Marion O'Neill Lee, a resident of Richmond Hill, Georgia, formerly of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Monday November 6, 2023 at St.

Joseph's Hospital of natural causes at the age of 89 years.

Marion O'Neill Lee was born in Savannah, Georgia at Telfair Hospital on June 24, 1934. Mr. Lee lived a life full of family and travel. He

attended Auburn University. He was the president of Lee Construction, Inc. He was married for forty-five years to the love of his life, Geri

Rosier Lee, until her death. They spent their golden years living on their waterfront property on the coast overlooking the St. Catherine Sound. During their marriage they raised four children.

Marion O'Neill Lee was an avid hunter and traveled to Bolivia, Argentina, Nicaragua, and Honduras to hunt with his wife and friends throughout his life. He was a competitive archer with a State Championship title and enjoyed fishing the low country.

He was a member of Solomon's Lodge #1(a masonic lodge founded by General James Oglethorpe in 1734), Scottish Rite Masonic Lodge Freemasons, and Alee Shriners in Savannah, GA.

Mr. Lee was predeceased in death by his wife in 2001 and his daughter, Geri Diane Lee Naylor, in 2008.

He was the child of General Fitzhugh Lee and Netta Hiott Lee who preceded him in death in 2015.

Mr. Lee is survived by his son, Dr. Marion O'Neill Lee, Jr. (Denah Taucer Lee ), his daughter Tracey Lee Buchner (Richard John Buchner, III)

and his son, Lawrence Edward Lee. Marion Lee is also survived by seven grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

Marion O'Neill Lee will be most remembered by his dedication to his disabled son who lived with him until his hospitalization on Friday October 14, 2023.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday November 11, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Laurel Grove Cemetery North at 802 West Anderson Street, Savannah, GA 31415. Visitation will be held graveside at 10:15 a.m. prior to the service.
