Marie Fabien Charles, age 60, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at her residence.

Marie was born in Haiti.  She has lived in Savannah for the past seven months.  She was a member of Quacco Baptist Church.

She taught elementary school in Haiti.  Marie loved to sing, pray, and she lead a group called "Son of King".  She truly loved the Lord.  She liked walks with children.

Marie is survived by her husband, Joseph Daniel Charles; children, Eden Charles, Norma Charles, Nellie Charles, Karl Joë Charles, and Christdanie Charles; grandchild, Jemima Chloe louis-Pierre; brothers and sisters, Jean Claude Fabien, Jude Fabien, Gerty Fabian, Darlene Fabian, Roselene Fabian; a nice, Max Danica Alexandra; several other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 20, 2023 at Quacco Baptist Church.

Burial will be held in Daniel Baptist Cemetery.
